Students Return to The Hilltop

Drove thru the campus this afternoon...lots of activity! Students returning to campus, checking into dorms, parents saying 'good-bye' until - probably - Parents' Weekend and...several Mustang football players practicing on the field outside of Ford Stadium! Good to see their commitment! September 4 can't get here soon enough!

We moved our incoming freshman into Shuttles Hall today. Still lots of construction on the campus. New buildings and other improvements. Another new engineering building! YAY!

Maybe it's just me, but I thought I sensed an improvement in school spirit. Lots of signs and posters up. Saying Friday is the day to wear Red and Blue. But not just that. Students were talking about going to football games and having a chance at winning some.

Great news! Im still confident that we can get atleast 5 wins this year but not going to keep my hopes up to high. But great to see the students talking about the game. Cant wait to see you guys up at Tech!
