Kris Briggs

It was good to see Kris in the backfield for Green Bay on Monday night. He received extensive playing time in the third quarter and looked strong as the blocking back.

I talked to him yesterday and he's excited about his opportunity! Yah, mon. Go KB!

Man, did Kris ever look the part! I remember seeing him practice at the intermural fields his freshman year and he was a man among boys with those enormous legs of his.

Hope he does very well at Green Bay.

He might actually be a good fit up there. Ahman Green is the man, of course, and they have a couple of fullbacks who seem secure. But who's the backup tailback behind Green? If Briggs can be a willing blocker (he also has pretty good hands coming out of the backfield) and a monster on special teams, he could make that team. Practice squad is probably more likely for this year, but even that would be a good start.
