With our first win, we are off the list. TT or TCU? I say TCU

winning one of our non-conference games probably would get us off that list, but after going 0-12, I'm not sure. The question is: "how many wins will it take to get off this list?". Gotta beat San Jose early, and then I would guess winning two more might do it. Anything short of that and we may stay in the bottom 10 all year, accompanied by anyone we might beat.

Yep. Count on SMU-SJSU being the pillow fight of the week.

UTEP is on the 'waiting list' (see bottom of ESPN page)...I say wins over them and a couple of others (TT, TCU & SJSU) will get us off this list!

It will be hard to beat Baylor this year since we don't play them until 2005. Hopefully we won't still be on the list to start the 2005 season.

Oops. I still want revenge for that debacle last year in Waco! (Thanks, PS)

If we win any of the first three games, we're off the list. Add a win over San Jose and we're 2-2, and probably off for the rest of the year. Then, with a couple more wins, we'll never have to see this list mentioned on this board again!

I wouldn't say a win over TCU is anywhere near a done deal. But we did give them a game last year, and their outgoing senior class was absolutely loaded, so I'll admit that it's possible. Let's not jump the gun, huh? I sure hope you're right, though.

Patterson will have the toads fired up when we come to town in 3 weeks after that narrow victory last year.
