Harry and others: I'll try to bear up under it Iguess. Not a matter of dispute of that Auburn was on probation that year (and other years or that some ratings did not list them in the rankings because of the probation). I think first heard the "undefeated ... unaccredited" bit from a cousin who started "bama or maybe Tennesssee about then.

Gave the link bacause it cam up near the top when I GOOGLED.

I'd rather remember the year when redshirt soph Chuck Hixson and team went over to Alabama and beat the Tigers.
