I FINALLY found the video tape of the 1985 SMU-Arkansas game where R Jones put that devastating hit on the Arkansas receiver! Jones once told me he wanted a copy of it if I found it..well I have! Do you know his address or how I can contact him to send hm a copy? (We won that game with great plays by Jones, Dupard, Morris and King)

Rod gave my his phone# the day he asked you about the tape. I'll dig it out and give it to you before the game.

Why don't I just bring the tape on down with me in case he is on the BLVD. If he isnt there I can leave it with you perhaps. I have found that I have practically the whole 1985 sason bits and pieces on tape.

I was at that game. I had a young lady that really didn't know me well as a date. And she had no idea what football was. That hit happened right in front of us and I went nuts. She was absolutely horrified. "Hey, babe, that's football'" was the best I could come up with. It worked cause she married me. She still doesn't understand football, though.

That was one heck of a hit. Also, in Texas stadium, on a reverse in 1980, Ricky Bolton had a similar hit on an Ark player. And the Ark player didn't return to the game on that day. I dream of the day we can have hits like that against Ark all the time.
