Red Raiders name captains

Found this on the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal's website.

The team named four seniors as captains after Friday's practice. Defensive end Adell Duckett, linebacker Mike Smith, inside receiver Nehemiah Glover and offensive tackle Daniel Loper were chosen by a team vote.

Don't know that it makes any difference, of course. We all knew Duckett, Loper and Glover were terrific players. I'm not as familiar with Smith.
