Ted came to the old weight room in Owenby to work out in the off season back in the mid to late 70s. I was always amazed at how calm and unassuming he was. He played in the NFL and could have been a huge presents in our weight room. But he wasn't. He was friendly and just worked out. And he was small. So glad to see him do well. Sometimes, good guys do finish first.
