Great game last night. SMU looks much improved and played with a lot of effort and heart. It is a shame about what happened at the end, but hopefully it will fire the team up.

Anyway, Texas Tech can go back to Laredo, or Abilene, or wherever the hell they're from and fade into irrelevancy.

It's time to go get that Iron Skillet.

We finally have a football team. There were some serious hits put on by SMU players. It has been a while since we have had that. The defense really showed improvement and heart. And they didn't give up. Stopping Tech inside the 20 as many times as our defense did will go a long way to improve the defenses' confidence. The offense, for all its difficulties last night, was still much improved over last year. Few sacks and the QB wasn't scrambling for his life. The same goes for the kicking game. And for once their was some fire in the belly (post game motivation one hopes). Alos, the SMU fans were more into the game than i have seen in years. We lost. However, we are not a doormate this year and we will win some games.
