Thanks go out to "Will in Dallas" and "Steve in Plano" who called Galloway's show yesterday and offered the SMU side of the discussion on the post-game festivities Saturday. Always nice to hear pro-SMU voices on the air.

I also liked Chuck Cooperstein, who said (something like) "I don't think there's anyone in football and anyone in this area who isn't rooting like hell for Phil Bennett to turn this thing around."

Not sure if that was the exact wording, but he went on to say that every coach he knows likes and admires Coach Bennett, and that he's held in extremely high regard. He also pointed out that Coach B probably needs one or two more strong recruiting classes to make the program take off.
