The NCAA will start an investigation and determine after 5 years that the real villian in this story is UAB. UAB signed players out of JUCO, so Auburn had to pay recruits just so they could have enough players to field a team. Further, some of UAB's coed intramural flag football games, non-NCAA sanctioned sporting events, are held on Saturday mornings. This distracted some recruits who stopped by the campus to ask for directions to Auburn. UAB is obviously the guilty party. It is as clear as day in Kansas City logic. UAB must be punished.
UAB will be placed on 5 to 50 of years probation, lose 12 scholarships (per year during the probationary period) and hand write personalized letters of apology to the Governor, Speaker of the House, Cecil Newton and every single booster Auburn has. Further UAB will have to reimburse each of the boosters in this pay to play scheme. After all it is UAB's fault that Auburn can't play by the rules.
The NCAA will see justice done. This "lenient" punishment for UAB will make sure that Auburn learns its lesson.
