Don't see the housing market recovering for a very long time...on the other hand I dont mind leveraging as much as I can for low rates...

But people deserve affordable home ownership. It's a basic right.

Being in the mortgage business this is one of the scariest statements I have seen. I am hoping for sarcasm.

This was Clinton's belief and what culminated in what we have today. Owning a home is not a right. We have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This does not include home ownership. My job for the past 17 years has been providing home loans to first time, low income, borrowers. Let me assure you, many do not deserve a home. And many do not deserve to be receiving the Government benefits they do receive and they are the first to laugh and admit it. I would guess over the past 17 years I have averaged a 10% loan to 90% decline percentage.

People deserve the right to attempt to obtain shelter without discrimination. This does not include owning a home.

As far as what these guys did, it has been going on all over the country. A lot of it was done under the watchful eyes and with the blessings of the Government. But some choose to get greedier than other and when they get caught it is not pretty.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand

If you're the recipient of a 30 year fixed mortgage, you're the recipient of subsidized housing. A free market wouldn't support 30 years at rates most sovereigns would be happy to borrow at

It was very much sarcasm. Agree with every word you say. I'm a minarchist.
