Both SMU and TCU should be commended for finally addressing their facilities. I really wonder whether there are any other PRIVATE schools in the country other than say Stanford and maybe Notre Dame where facilities have been so strongly addressed in the last 10-15 years. Both schools are heading for $110-125 Million+ in improvements from private donations in a little over a decade. I mean Miami, Tulane can't even get a stadium of their own. Tulsa has done pretty well too for the size of their university.

Over the last ten years, Northwestern has spent money on facilities, but within the Big Ten, they are modest in size and quality. How about Duke, Wake Forest and BC?

USC still plays in the old old Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Talk about a stadium in desperate need of a "refresh"; you have to visit this place.
