Haven't made it to my school. SMU competitors UTEP, TCU, A&M, have. Colorado, OK State, Wash. St, La Tech, Boise St, UNT, have set up shop here it seems and we have not so much as heard from SMU. I'll admit that Frisco ISD is not a football powerhouse but being one of six high schools and the only one with recent success, you would think we would at least warrant a visit.

You have to network the school and market your players, SMU looks for talent no matter where, Frisco Liberty had the really good RB in Ajayi, who signed with Boise, Cameron Brown who signed with Western KY, the only other player that I can remember from that 2011 team is Malcolm Hill. You had a great year in 2011, no doubt, Coach Zimmerman did a fabulous job , having benefited from tutelage under Coach Brazel for 7 years, but reach out bro, if you got players, contact the SMU area recruiter. I see plenty of HS coaches just waiting to be contacted by some school, HS coaches are integral in marketing and networking their players, dont set around on message boards playing the waiting game, get to work "talking up" your guys.
