Has any one ever seen those fountains in use? I remember those thing back in the 70's but I never seen a picture of them in use.

From '70 to'74 there were four sculpture/fountains on the boulevard, I believe, representing the four seasons. Each sculpture was donated to the university by a specific graduation class. Each fountain operated during the warmer months Mar.-Oct. A tradition in the men's freshman dorms was during your first semester, to grab your floor's RA, and dump them in the fountain at Bishop and Binkley. Also, several times a year they were filled with detergent.

Heard they developed leaks and were deemed too expensive to repair. Did'nt hear what they did with the sculptures.
