Bennet Recruits

How many of this year's projected starters were Bennet recruits? Also noticed SMU highly placed on most Pre-season mags...Should we be optimistic?

The entire projected starting O line are bennet recruits....beachum, leriebus, tennison, turner and brooks. McJunkin is a JJ recruit though, he will be fighting for the center job with Tennison.

Bradley Haynes is a Bennet recruit, even if he doesnt start, should see some reps. Dont think there are any PB recruits on the projected starting D.

Terrance Wilkerson was one of Phil's. Not officially back in the starting line-up, but it would surprise me if he doesn't get on a the field a good bit.

Good to see some of Bennet's recruiting pay off this year as well as the last two.

You sure about this one? He was in JJ's first class, and the only carry over I can remember from Phil was Braden Smith. I know he wasn't the only one but I thought Cole was JJ's.

I'm pretty sure Beasley was offered by PB also. Definitely seems like a JJ guy tho.

Cole and Braden were both offered and committed under the watch of the mustache. June decided not to pull their scholarship offers, although he did just that with some of the kids who committed to Coach Bennett that year.
