Did anyone hear Brent Musberger remark that he "sure would love some Tostitos and a Pepsi right now..." during the Fiesta Bowl?

He has to be the worst college football announcer ever. What's too bad is that ABC has, hands down, THE best college foobtall announcer, Sean McDonough, who they got from CBS (SEC) a couple years ago, and who they put on B-list ACC, East Coast broadcasts. But since the corporations and ABC/ESPN have bought college football we have to put up with a dumb old man, his Tostitos, and no true championship.

Go Mustangs. Was listening to KSKY on the web the other night when Ross drilled the 3. That was sweet. 3-0 in the WAC, baby.

Didn't hear Musberger's comment, but you're right - he's an absolute joke. He hasn't been any good since he, Irv Cross and Jimmy The Greek did NFL games a couple centuries ago on CBS.

And I agree that ABC has the best college football announcer, but it's not your man McDonough. Even though he's getting up in age, there is nobody that compares to the great Keith Jackson. The man is the godfather of college football announcers. I hope he lives forever and never fully retires, even if it means we only get to hear him once a year. Nobody can paint the picture and capture the atmosphere of college football like Jackson. He is without equal. McDonough is really good, but he's still in Jackson's shadow.
