Poor June Jones
I really wished SMU would release the exact profile of the recruits SMU signed-again-to explode this myth about those "stringent academic requirements poor June Jones has to live with". Its getting old. Seriously, where were some of you when it was TRUE.

Can someone confirm whether this is about recruit academics, IPF, or something else? I want to know if it is worth getting enraged over.

The often promised, never delivered academic programs for athletes...plus the lack of NCAA rules on athletes already enrolled (what does it take to remain eligible, stay in school, etc--still above NCAA standards). Most of the initial acceptance rules have been meet. Plus the general attitude of the top in regard to the value of the program and its contributions to the university--everyone needs approval, even head coaches.
