Longview represented Texas over Evangel *Louisiana* Christian Academy who had never lost to the same team three straight years in a row.

Longview is now 4-0 on the season..and has become the only team to beat Evangel 2 and 3 years in a row.

The mighty Lobos rock! And so do the Bearkats of Sam Houston State! Defeated the #1 team in Div. 1-AA in Huntsville yesterday. Final score: Sam Houston State 41, Montana 29. The 'Kat fans tore down the newly-constructed goalposts at Bowers Stadium after the game. I'm just waiting to see the Mustang fans do the same at Ford Stadium...SOON!!!!!!

Listened to the Lobo game here in Plano on KWKH's 50K watts out of Shreveport. Sure eased the pain of a 0 - 38 half against OSU. GO Lobos!
