...the Big 12 in 2012 might be down to nine teams. Invitations to schools like Houston, TCU or even Brigham Young could be looming.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

How's this for a nightmare scenario? Big 12 gets BYU, TCU, and Houston. We are left in CUSA and we replace Houston w/ La Tech.

Nightmare? I call it a higher percentage chance to win C-USA West. But I'm a glass half full kind of guy.
