I've been looking all over and have seen no mention of him making it to any NFL camp.

yeah, same here. hopefully, some team develops a need for a strong leg. Washington's punter seems lacking.

I haven't confirmed it, but have been told by a couple of people that Szymanski tried out for the Redskins recently (not sure if it was as a placekicker or punter, but the Skins can use both).
