“The stadium is perfect for now,” Jones said. “They’d lost for so many years, there was a reason nobody came. We have approval (to expand) to 65,000 at some point in the future. I’d like to do that."

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

That's a great article.

June came to us, huh... That's awesome. "The campus is like an Ivy Leage's" Great line.

"In 2006, Hawaii went 11-3. The next year, the Warriors finished the regular season 12-0 before losing to Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.

“The first year was my best team at Hawaii,” Jones said. “We lost on the last play in all three of those losses. I think about that all the time. Had we won those three, we’d have had back-to-back undefeated (regular) seasons.”

Jones said he left Hawaii primarily because he grew tired battling for better facilities.

“It was frustrating,” he said. “I love Hawaii. I’ll go back there and live some day. But I was burned out from fighting through everything."

While I think it's early to talk expansion, I will say that I'd prefer to add more seating on the east side vs. closing in the end zone. I like the open end, especially being able to see into the stadium from Mockingbird.

I agree but for a different. I like the fact that our stadium is a horseshoe. I know mustangs don't wear horseshoes but I like it anyway.

June's proclivity for making irrational statements has become a cause of some

concern. The pressure that he will encounter on October 1, at Hell's Half Acre,

will only serve to exacerbate those problems. Until that time.

Hey fraggie (cross between a toad and an aggie) go back to your lily pad. The only hell you will experience on Oct. 1 is the Mustangs kicking crap out of your little froggies. I think you better start worrying about the games before us as you will likely not have much to brag about by the time we get to you.

GO PONIES!!!

Cute to see you spent your Saturday night this weekend trolling a message board for another school. I'd suggest you get a hobby, maybe leave the basement once in a while.
