When we talk about conference expansion and conferences like the Big12 picking up Boise, TCU, SMU or Houston, aren't we being pretty short sighted? Those teams are successful recently, but could snap back to obscurity in a second.

I laugh so hard when I hear that the Big 12's expansion wish list is Notre Dame, Arkansas and BYU.

Why would any quality school want to join a dysfunctional Big 12 family that ALWAYS will favor Texas and its Longhorn Network???

A "good" school would be NUTS to join the Big 12.

The only schools the Big 12 will be able to lure are those that want to move up the food chain, schools like Houston and SMU.
