Sterling Moore prevents a Saints touchdown!

Postby giacfsp » Sun Aug 28, 2011 9:24 pm

Yeah, they scored on the next play, but Sterling just made a great play, coming forward from his position behind the N.O. receiver and ducking around him before diving across in front of him to knock down a sure touchdown pass.

It wasn't thrown very hard, but it also was a very short pass, so Sterling made the play QUICK. Great to see.

Pretty cool to hear Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth talk him up for a second, too.

we have no one but june to thank for this. he and his gang have gotten these guys in front of NFL scouts, and his record for getting guys in the NFL is proven. HS kids notice this.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

The story was that June called Jerry after he drafted Orlando Scandrick and told him that he was the best corner his Hawaii team had faced the year before.

yep, sweet play. it looked like Sterling was actually behind the receiver, but he made a really nice play on the ball.
of course, there was the other touchdown pass they made on him.
hope he does enough to stick around, though.

•Sterling Moore: This is Moore's golden opportunity to cement among the 53. With the recent addition of Lito Sheppard, Moore could very well be fighting an uphill battle. However, if he can make a few plays in this game, he is going to make it near impossible to cut him.

I didn't get to see the game, but sure sounds like he made some plays.
