As a casual CU fan, I hate the idea of that.
Some people simply forget just how bad it was...

I'm sure USC, UCLA, Berkeley, and Stanford are drooling over the inclusion of Texas Tech and Oklahoma State to their conference!

The Big XII-II-I has limited conferences to raid. The SEC and Big X+II are out. Both are too rich for member schools to be enticed to becoming the Whorns cell punk. Former PAC X+II now XII might have some ripe candidates. Certainly the Mountain West might have a candidate.

Would the Whorns be interested in a CUSA, Mid American, WAC or Sun Belt Team? Probably not.

Would the ACC be a possibility? Probably not as there is a possibility of SEC poaching of that conference. IF so and there is a viable candidate left over, then maybe the Whorns head East..

So the Big East looks like a good candidate to find a new cell punk. It isn’t a football powerhouse, has questionable long term viability (based on its schizoid structure to accommodate basketball and football).

UT's options to hold the Big XII-II-I is very limited. That nice fat network may deter some schools from jumping into the Big XII-II-I.
