Where would they park all their non-revenue sports if they went independent? C-USA?

Plus, they make more money keeping the LHN and getting conference $$$. Big win for them. They should want to keep the B12 together as long as possible.

Very good point about about non revenue sports, I would assume basketball and maybe baseball make money the rest no way. That alone I would think would be UT's reason to keep conference together. Now having said that, UT wants their TLN to do well and they know how bad non BCS schools want to be bart of BCS cartel, so do they go after the SMU's and UH's of the world and bring them into the BIg 12 with the understanding some of the games in all sports will be televise on the LHN but they will be part of a BCS confernce?
