Good news: I was told by a person of authority that men's track would be back within 2 years.

Bad news: That was 5 years ago.

I can't tell if you're joking, but is the intent to bring it back soon?

No joke. And it might have been 6 or 7 years ago. It was pre Jones for sure. I believe that they might have been just tying to pacify me at a fund raiser. I have heard no other talk about it since that time. But then again I am far away and out of the loop.
