Defense seemed to play a bit soft

Gave a lot of cushion the the aTm receivers.

At one point our top 2 leading tacklers were Banjo and Smith. It's bad news when your safeties are leading that category.

Best guess was a bend don't break scheme. The problem was A$M really executed well. They didn't screw up and took what SMU gave them. A$M played well and defeated our D. That said, our D did a poor job tackling and finishing plays. Hopefully, this education will help them with UTEP.
