Our defense is finally producing some more turn overs. There were those two "almost legit" fumbles that we created. Our guys came out hitting hard and it showed.

I agree that I intended the Silver Lining Awards to be only for losses, but after reading all the posts on this board I began to believe we had lost so I thought it needed to be put into play.

Our next two games are very winnable - against Northwestern State and Memphis, who lost
47-3 to Arkansas State (now corrected). And, Jared Williams appears to be a promising running back, capable of making big plays.

And we are no longer playing before a half-empty stadium.

Arkansas State, not Central Arkansas. UCA lost in OT vs. La Tech.

good idea, mrydel...it is always easy to be a back seat driver. After we vent about what was/should have been, we can think of the good things that we saw. On t.v. the band and cheering sounded louder than usual. In fact it sounded like fun.
