The Pass Interference call

And we're all forgetting the call when the UTEP player caught the ball, turned, got pummeled, dropped the ball and they called an incomplete pass.

Officiating sucks in all of college football. One of the nice things about the old SWC was a coach could veto one official a game. With accountability on the line, those officials tended to call excellent games.

That ref was making bad calls all night and his calls all favored UTEP. I swear I saw UTEP'ers on the sidelines stuffing cash in his back pocket as he was awfully chummy with them. Then again, maybe it was just a wad of players phone numbers they were stuffing in his trou.

Spots were bad from him, the PI call was horrible and the bounced pass he called complete was the final straw. It was actually a very clean game that both teams played so it was really too bad the officiating was so bad. I bet if he could have over-rulled the stripped ball in the end zone by JD, he would have and said it was roughing the passer. Let's hope June formally complained about that guy after the game and we don't see him again any time soon.

I have a buddy that played golf with him on Sunday. Said he had a helluva short game.
