I imagined him slapping his chest to sound like a helicopter while reporting, ala Les Nesman.

Looks like a traffic tie up on the bridge over Lake Ray Hubbard tonight.

Myrdel-----Why don't you cut over west at Greenville on HWY 380 to I-75 to Mckinney and then go south into Dallas and take the adventure out of Rockwall?....its not worth the headache to stay on I-30 without knowing you just may get stuck again..last week sounded like a real nightmare.
Thanks for saying hi after the game though...I hope to catch a lemonade with you before the game this time...

I, too, have taken this route. Bit more time than 30 (under perfect conditions) but certainly an easy and relatively traffic-free route most of the time.

I shall look into it. I lived in Greenville for about a year in 1985. You would think I could remember that drive. But then again, I do not remember any of the '60s and very little of 1985.

***edit*** I checked this route and it looks great. Think I will do this. Thanks for the tip.

Actually I am a minor partner in the BUS Stop, but I do sneak over to 33 for lemonade.
