Can someone explain why Southern Miss is suppose to be so scarey or a sure loss? SM beat LaTech 19-17 and lost to Marshall 26-20. Marshal lost to Ohio (MAC) 44-7. SM seems like just another volatile CUSA team whose performance depends on what team shows up that day and not a guaranteed test like Navy, UCF or TCU.

SMU is the only one that worries me on our schedule...without giving in to the Dark
Side, we have the ability to compete and defeat anyone on the remaining schedule...no sunshine here, just a concern that we take care of our own business first, without concern about the merits of the opposition.

Think US Grant's quote when he came east and was told of the legendary RE Lee and the exploits of the ANV. We should be worried about what "we will be doing to them"..
