If the SEC approached FSU and GT, the burn marks on the street called the ACC would be quite noticeable. Or Miami, or UNC or VT. They'd be gone in a country minute. The ACC is putting up a good face, but then raided the BE so that if they got raided they could continue to raid the BE instead of the other way around. If the SEC goes to 16, it will be out of ACC hide. All the SEC has to do is agree on two teams from the ACC that they want. Which given its politics, Florida (do they or don't they want FSU), Kentucky (do they or don't they want Louisville), Georgia (do they or dont' they want GT), SC (do they or don't they want Clemson) Vanderbilt (do they or don't they want Duke), LSU (I know they don't want Tulane), The deal makers will probably in reality be Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, MSU, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Auburn and Alabama. Which of those schools will they vote for. Probably FSU and Clemson if they voted today. FSU and GT if they voted with their hearts. FSU and Tulane if they voted with tradition. FSU and SMU if they thought it through clearly.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

SEC has great options in Clemson and FSU but once again greed and self-interst rather than rationale rivalries keeps that from happening.
