When I mentioned Mark Cuban I was making a joke but after thinking about it it might not be such a bad idea. First, Cuban has wanted to get involved in fball so let him broker a deal. His phone calls and ideas to teh major schools would probably be better received than a SO or another AD from another school. He would get a lot of positive pub for putting together such a conference and he would probably really enjoy doing it.
