Brooks: The Amateur Idea

NYTimes David Brooks suggests "people seem to do best when they have to wrestle between commericalism and values. So, no, let's not pay athletes."

This article speaks to me. Does it serve an important role in college realignment and/o temper our worst behaviors in college sports, especially FB and BB?
