Second Half Recap Requested

Good to get a W on the road in conference. I turned the game off at half to attend an event. Can someone recap for me what happened? Did we get conservative on offense? Try out some new stuff?

same old 3rd quarter drought. zach fumbled on the one on 1st and goal...

JJ couldn't seem to link passes together either during that quarter.

within the first 5 of the 4th quarter we scored two more quickly. JJ started to look a lot better in my opinion.

I wouldn't say we became conservative...i think june gave JJ too many passing opportunities in the 3rd and didn't use zach enough to open up the defense. in the 4th quarter we started to run more and in turn gave JJ more opportunities to find open receivers and complete.

yep exactly. it was all about getting JJ as many reps as possible. JJ is starting to get it. Padron didn't come in, unlike many wanted, because June knows JJ needs these reps to be ready for teams like TCU and UCF.

we aren't there yet, but I think we will be fine soon. One of our qbs will step up next game and that will be the qb for the rest of the season.

Sorry to hear about the fumbles. That's gotta get fixed and now. But I see a team improving every week.

June does not put much stock in non conference games. Get the team prepped for C-USA

Kelly Turner stepped up and positioned himself as our 2nd leading rusher in the starting 11 on offense.
