A&M to SEC now official

I don't really see what the big deal is about letting fsu or Clemson in the sec. They already recruit to the level of florida and south Carolina. They just make more money that's it.

After all the vetos get dropped, Vanderbilt persuades the SEC to add SMU. A&M wanting to have games in Dallas gives its okay. I will now remove my tongue from my cheek.

I honestly don't know why they don't consider Rice.
Yeah, I know they are always going to be bad in football. But they don't need another football school. They could use a school who brings something else to the table, and Rice could compete in every other sport. That would also give a big middle finger to everyone who calls the SEC a dumb jock league.

Clemson's "downside" is that they don't expand the footprint or deliver any new TV sets. Virginia Tech is the best candidate from that standpoint. I hear rumors about NC State as well

Rice would take away money per team not add to it, also would be funny to see the fans mix. Going down that line of thinking they could re-add Tulane, but again small schools like that do not increase per team revenue. They added A&M which many SEC schools probably see as a punching bag full of money.

Aggie will be .500 at best in conference. Kill 'em Tigers, Tide, Gator, Dogs, War Eagle. They'll split with Vandy.
