Then VS. Now

Postby NomAnor » Mon Sep 26, 2011 3:27 pm

It wasnt so long ago I would scour the newspaper and internet just to find the Box score for an SMU game (usually to my dismay because we lost ) and praying that we could land some 3 star recruits(now 3 stars is becoming the norm)Nowaday i scour the paper and internet looking to see who in the top 25 lost so we can possibly move up(we will be ranked by the end of the year )any one else enjoying the changes our pony has made over the last few years?Mark my words we will beat TCU and get some top 25 votes this week :D

+ 1.

Its a tough stretch of games coming up, but the scheduling Gods allowed us to have 3 warm up games before this one. Should be clicking on all cylinders right now. No more excuses, just win baby.

So glad somebody started this thread, and even more glad that we get to whine about the fact that we didn't beat teams badly enough instead of thanking the deity of our choice that we weren't the ones who got whipped. This is our chance to beat a ranked team in TCU, and I really hope we take it. The D is primed, the O is getting better (and even if we have QB issues, we always have Zach, who in my mind has to be a Doak Walker finalist this year if he keeps this pace). I can't wait for Saturday! From the bottom of my heart, thanks to everyone who worked so hard to get us to this point: the donors, SO, JJ and his staff, and all of Mustang Nation who stood up and said it is time to get back to where we belong!

if things keep going the way they are just imagine what we will be doing in two years where 4 star recruits should be the norm.Great def will be the norm and after kase kennum leaves UH we will own the west of confrence USA for many many years or until we get our seat at the big boy table back
