SMU and Boise State to Pac-12

Some of these comments make me laugh. I see that west of Texas is foreign territory to some. Let me respnd to a few comments made.
1. Arizona and Colorado are a short flight from Dallas. Way closer to ANY teams in the Big East. Also, how long of a drive to UCF?

I never said the Big East is closer. UCF is a longer drive than PHX (at least from me here in Houston ).

Some of these conference scenarios are a bit depressing from that perspective. I still want to join a BCS conference despite travel times.

SMU to Pac-12 is my personal dream scenario since I live in SoCal (I get a little *something* about thinking about watching SMU play in the Rose Bowl). Hey, it makes the most sense to me/best fit for us and them: High powered athletic offense matches others in the conference, strong recruiting here already with AK, and Cali is closer to Hawaii than any other state for JJ. Makes perfect sense. I should start a SMU2PAC12.com website!

Everybody needs to chill out on this conference alignment scenario. It's all trending toward 4 "Super Conferences" of ~16 teams. That equals 64 teams. We are undoubtedly a top 64 program. Just keep winning and we'll be a perennial top 30 team and won't have anything to worry about.
