just had a thought. so if the cost is about $14.5MM, and UCF, UH, ECU and Memphis all go, and somehow we get left behind (don't see that happening) that would mean about $50MM for the remaining 8 schools to split up? ok, not a bad consolation prize since we would dominate the league for the next 3-4 years until the next major conference shift, be in the best position to move up of anyone in in BCS, and have put an extra $6.25 in our coffers for anything we want to spend it on besides marketing!
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

That's looking on the bright side.

Although, 6.25M is pretty small potatoes as to what we would be getting elsewhere.

i agree, just a little sunshine for all the doomsdayers on here. it might be kind of fun to have some money to do stuff with, AND completely dominate for a few years. CUSA still has good bowl tie ins. TCU was able to get great talent and they weren't in an AQ, they just simply won. a lot. kids like to win.

I like how the exit fee is more than anything you could ever make being in CUSA. All conferences have high exit fees, yet to see one paid in full. Just conference commissioners trying to scare schools into staying, never happens, and a reporter trying to get people to read his article with sensationalism rather than actual reporting.

Seriously $7-$14 to leave CUSA? What is this the Big 12/SEC/PAC12/Big10? Oh wait its CUSA...

If the penalty takes more than 4 hours, you may want to consult your doctor.

How much does Tim McMurray hit me up for tonight at dinner? Do I pay or should he?

He should pay.

Should be hitting you up for quite a bit if he's taking you to dinner.

How about I pay, then I don't have to give money. Do I take my bank statement to show how broke I am?

I wouldn't take your bank statement. I think the lack of shoes and smelling like a bum will work. Still would make him pay for dinner, get every "free" meal you can.
