All that is going to be left by the time any merger could realistically happen will be the dead weight. Most likely any merger will contain maybe 2 of Boise St., UCF, Houston, AFA, SMU, ECU.

What good is a merger when the premier members will be USM, Wyoming, Tulsa, Nevada, and Fresno St.?
