And by the way, the Rangers game was tonight - not a conflict. Look at Northwestern's efforts in Chicago. They've put a marketing and ticket sales team in place to sell - sell - sell. That is not happening here. Orsini is either too lazy or too stupid to realize the importance of having people in the stands watching your games. How he justifies his own salary is beyond me, but this just doesn't cut it.
Ask Orsisi -- Do you have an explanation as to why there were less than 13,000 fans in the seats for this game? You are 5 years into your tenure as AD - and you PROMISED to raise $$$$ through sponsorship and ticket sales. All you have done is continue to put the pinch on donors to fund [deleted] and unsucessful programs. You are an Accountant and your SID is running marketing. This is why things will not change until you realize the importance of building a fan base.

Ponyfans has the most loyal and hard core fans. We don't need convincing and the guys on here are very patient --- too patient when it comes to expectations on attendance.

But when you do NOTHING -- NOTHING -- NOTHING for 5 straight years and the team starts experiencing success, your lack of planning becomes an issue.
Do your [deleted] job!!!
