How Did the O-Line Play in the 1st Scrimmage? To anyone who was able to catch some of the scrimmage. Did the O-Line show any improvement?
Re: How Did the O-Line Play in the 1st Scrimmage?I watched a few minutes of it. They were out of sync like you might imagine for an early spring practice, but they do look bigger. Sterling Harris looks more nimble and is playing on the 1st string. #62 looks huge, I think thats Kieshnick who plays on the second team. I was not discouraged by what I saw, put it that way. The offensive coordinator was really getting after it which was a sight for sore eyes.

Re: How Did the O-Line Play in the 1st Scrimmage?Actually,#62 is Kieschnick and he is on the 1st team. They have been running like this:Center Reindl, Right guard Kieschnick,Right tackle Harris,Left guard Chandler, Left tackle Davis. As a unit they look good. They appear to zone block which will be alot easier than the crap they did last year. Luker looks alot more comfortable in this offense then he did last year and Bartel although he is starting slow shows flashes of greatness. Cunningham is awesome and so is Charles,we have nicknamed Freeman(Roberto Duran i.e. Hands of Stone)
