Hey Jay - we agree - why do you think we scheduled you lame a*s's.
Now if we could only get the rest of your pathetic conference on our schedule we could get ot a bowl game

MGM, SMU does not like you??? Until you yahoo's started posting over here..........we didn't know you existed!!! Don't flatter yourself!
come on...Ok, ok, Ive read through all of these posts and have a couple of thoughts.
First of all, I think its a bit early to begin all the trash talking... 2006? SMU and UNT BOTH have another SEASON to play. Theres no telling how well/poor either team will do because as far as I can tell, UNT has alot of question marks losing both O-line and D-line & SMU has yet to ever recapture the glory of its SWC days. TRUE the sun belt has had some weaklings, however most of them are going to the WAC, which will make it one of the strangest conferences (parity-wise) with big guys like Boise State down to bottom feeders like Idaho. As a NT alumn, I am personally glad to see this game start back up. Not because of some hatred for a school i could truthfully care less about, but because i think it is good for the metroplex and good for the fans. Should draw a large crowd to BOTH stadiums which will be alot of FUN. I only wish NT was going to have their new stadium by then. Save the trash talk.. its time and place will surely come. Hopefully both schools will have tremendous seasons in 2005 so that the 2006 game is even BETTER! SO heres to college football and looking forward to a renewed rivalry! Good luck in CUSA next year
ditto, mg204. If both teams are playing well and coming off strong season in 2005, then we both win at the gate, much less for bragging rights!
