Not just football but......Stadium Sponsors

I just saw that Boise's basketball arena is now Taco Bell Arena. With this late trend in stadium renaming does anyone see SMU jumping on this bandwagon? Who do you think it would be, maybe the White Rock Yacht Club Natatorium could be one?

And for only $1 million, we could have the Anheuser-Busch band hall.

I assume that when Gerald Ford so generously Ponied Up the cash that allowed Mecca to be built on the Hilltop, there was some sort of an agreement that his name would remain.

Although, if you read the profile of him a couple years ago in (I forget the name -- there was a magazine inserted briefly in the Northside People Newspaper), he sounds like a guy who doesn't make demands like that. Nonetheless, I doubt we'll ever see anything like Gerald J. Ford Field at Dr Pepper Stadium.

Perhaps the White Rock Yacht Club could serve the famous Jaws Burger in the concessions.

With our luck, Proctor and Gamble will offer us a ton of money and we'll name it you got it, the Tidee Bowl. I'm sorry I just couldn't resist that one.
