The good news about this schedule is that 8 of our 11 games are played in our home state. How many other football schools can (outside CUSA) say that? Hopefully this has a positive impact on attendance.

What strikes me about this schedule is there are only two apparent airline trips for the team - W. Va and Ala. Anyone know how much we are saving on travel expenses vs. last year?

AusTxPony, I heard we will save about $250,000 on travel costs by moving to CUSA. But don't worry about the airline industry, TCU is picking up the slack by moving to the Mountain West.
Just send 'da money.

Probably as attractive a home schedule as we could hope for in our current state. As for improved attendance, anyone care to take a gues at what we will draw/average? I'd be very pleased to see 120,000/20,000 but my guess is 110,000.

We could be 0-6, 1-5 going into the ECU game. I guess we have to play them sometime, but I sure would have preferred to play them near the end of the schedule. But I've highlighted October 1 in red and will get the SUV oiled and greased for the trek from DC area to Huntington, W. Va.

Eaststang, if we open "0-6", scheduling is NOT our problem.
