OFF-TOPIC: MEMORIAL DAY

Postby MrMustang1965 » Mon May 30, 2005 5:21 pm

As a non-veteran (missed Vietnam by 2 years), I'd like to take a moment to thank all of our veterans and the families of the men & women who gave their lives in combat for our country to remain free & safe. I'm sure there are quite a few who were Mustangs. Hats off to all of them! God bless America!

All gave some; some gave all

Those of us who served in Vietnam know that no matter how much action any of us saw, the heroes of that war are the troops who have thier names on The Wall. The rest of us were just doing our job. It was reward enough to come back home alive. Thanka for remembering our fallen brothers and sisters.

And Sam I Am, thanks for your service as well. "And the caisson go rolling along." In the artillery, you know what a caisson really is.

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
