I believe June said that he needed some breathing room or rather tune up game (and Hart agreed) as oppose to playing all BCS team in the OOC. Remember all we have to do this year is win the conference and we get an automatic BCS bowl bid, so we don't need a murders row OOC schedule like UNT or Fresno State. :D

Has there been a 3 or 4 loss team in a BCS game before?

Yes, Wisconsin was 8-5 last year and went to the Rose Bowl because they won their BCS conference. We can do similarly if needed.
