Is there a post-DP player who made more of his physical ability than Wolf? He's not really big, he certainly wasn't overly fast, but he sure could catch the ball. He didn't outrun folks, but he ran very precise routes, and he had unbelievable hands. He was a real pleasure to watch.

Schembechler at Michigan could not understand why he chose SMU

and don't discredit his athletic ability too much, he was a great natural athlete who could have played several positions
