Great thread, NC. I hadn't noticed it until now. Makes for good discussion, or posts.

One wonders, just because one is a successful Ponyfans poster, does that qualify them to make athletic related decisions?

The question isn't meant to be pejorative, but to understand what qualifies for decision making on athletics.

If one asked me to give an opinion outside my field of expertise and profession, I would be at a distinct disadvantage as 1) I don't have all the facts as an outsider and 2) don't have the training, experience and expertise to make even an educated guess.

And if others outside my field of expertise and profession began giving advise on how to handle the issues I usually handle, I would be skeptical of their opinions.

So how does Hart really gauge fans opinions? One way is season ticket sells which I understand are up. If so, then he sees an increase in fans voting with their wallet. That might be more influential than fan board opinion.

I don't know if JJ is right or wrong or past his due date. That is for Hart to decide. I do know that nobody with influence has ever asked my opinion and I don't foresee that happening in my lifetime to be honest. So I will wait till more facts are in (a full season) and see what Hart and others with more expertise, experience and training in athletics than I have do. And I will support the Mustangs regardless. I think, for what it is worth, this is a much better team than we have seen in the past 25years.

See, now I needed you to record things like this so I could have listened to them on the drive down today. Not having you in the car with me will increase my dumbness three fold.
