jtstang,
I am sorry you got cut from your freshman football team, don't get upset and blame me because you are a "never been", how sad you can't even qualify as a "has been". You, Stallion and Dale Hansen need to get together because you seem to have all the answersl, yet you'ver never done anything yourself, you just talk about others and try and drag past SMU players down.
And what qualifications do you have bad@ss -- hunting and fishing don't sound as rough as football to me. And I didn't get cut, thanks, just moved over to a sport which required some skill--basketball. And the only past players you ever heard me run down are the cheating @ssholes who helped us get the death penalty. If you're one of them, you should pay back every last dirty dime you took outta SMU.
jtstang,
I am sorry you suck at sports, maybe you should have given ballet a try- blame your parents, not me Why don't you go buy the 2006 NCAA football game for Xbox next week and create your own football memories, since you have no sports memories
How 'bout I just blame your parents and we'll call it even? They must be proud of your accomplishments, especially your grammatical skills.
grammatical skills? oooooh
![]() why don't you join a spelling bee contest, maybe that's where hidden skills are since it's not on the field of sports- heck they even held the competition on ESPN2 earlier this year- that's it, you could get on ESPN2, in a spelling contest and then come on here and talk about your sports prowess let me know if you need my help with the flash cards
![]() ![]() ![]() Romo showed experience way beyond his years in leading SMU from 2 TDs + down to beat UCONN 31-30 in his, and SMU's first season as QB. Probably got all that experience from being coached by Rossley with inputs from Gregg during the 88 practice year. Mr. Copeland is a dope for the can of RossleyBeGone he bought. ![]() Stallion, best 5 yard pass I ever saw ![]()
Bowen was so clutch! Sometimes the hardest pass to catch is the one that just hangs up there....waiting and waiting....
That was one of my favorite memories. I also loved smacking Vanderbilt 44-0.
PlanoStang- Thanks for the pictures! That brings back great memories. I remember the great Plano Wildcat teams of the 70's and 80's. It was like playing a college team. Kimbrough and HP's Bevers had to be the best coaches around. I bet even ole BUS got pushed around by the Plano Cats too. I am sure Southlake Carroll won't let its school get split like the Plano High Schools have done. Anyway thanks again for the "Miracle on Mockingbird" pictures
That made me laugh. I was NEVER pushed around by a Plano Wildcat.
Remember, I was a Wreslter and did not play football till SMU years. By the way. The wrestling coach at Plano was and IS a MENTAL case. And no, I never lost to a Plano anything. Mustang Militia: Fight the good fight"
